Greetings.
What if you had the opportunity to look years into your future, to learn something about that's ahead of you. What would you want to know??
Now turn that around. I just read some of my diary I myself wrote as a teen. Reading who I was then, what my problems were, what my world looked like to me then, I realized that young boy was living in a different world! I'm amazed he lived through it.
Some of his problems are so trivial, others crucial, life changing, even dangerous. He hasn't a clue which is which! He's just like you, me or all kids that age, struggling to 'grow up and get out.'
But now I know exactly what is going to happen to him.
What could I tell him now that would have helped him then, who he was, in that world he lived in, with the problems he was facing then?
Do you begin to see my problem with what I want to tell you? You reading this?
If you're in your teens, 20s, 30s, or even 40s, I know things about your future that you can't know. I know things that can help you—but how do I tell you? Do you even want to know? Do you even care?
I could tell that kid about events in his future that would scare the living sh*t out of him, really traumatize and hurt him. Or I could give him vague meaningless positive predictions like a Chinese fortune cookie. Neither help.
But just the right information I know now would help him lessen the scars and painful memories he carries--that I carry today.The same with you.That's what I'll be trying my best to do for you in all my writings. That's what I'm going to do in my blog.
I'm not claiming omniscience. You're living in a different world, like me as a teen. But now that I've lived through life--an extremely varied life, I can see things you can't, things that affect all of us humans like it or not. No matter what your situation is this is feedback that can help you and your decisions, that is, some of it will. It is the best I can do for you.
I'll begin by explaining what my logo means. It illustrates my mission.
1. This is your world. It's where you live now. The black is all your problems that exist all around you today.
2. This is your thought barrier, the limits of what you believe is possible. You don't even know it exists. That's why it is impenetrable.
3. These are my facts, implying new possibilities, new opportunities. They seem weird, uncomfortable, strange. . .but what if you try one or two?
4. This is you, breaking out of old habits, lifestyles, beliefs and discovering you're in a whole new Universe; a world of sunlight, beyond your wildest dreams.
So, if you don't want to know, or don't care, that's fine with me. Don't let the door hit you in the butt.
But if you're still interested in some things about life on Earth that do affect you, your decisions and your future, stick around.
